web 2.0-class reflection

For my final project I created a voki to share my learning for the course.  I think the most important thing I am taking away from this class is the exposure to all of these tools.  Now that I am familiar with these tools I can use them with my students to motivate and accelerate their learning across content areas. Literacy project

For my Literacy project I created a digital story using the Ipad app called Story Kit. Once I ironed out all the kinks and watched a youtube video on how to use this app it was very user friendly.  So I used this app to support our learning about nonfiction text.  As good readers, we are practicing asking questions and going back into the text to find the answer.

Finally, It works!!!! I am so proud of my digital story on matter!  I create this to support our second grade science curriculum on matter.  My plan is to introduce our unit using this digital story.  I hope the kids love it!

I hope I posted this correctly :/ This is what I have in my Diigo library so far.  Diigo is new to me but I am kind of liking the idea of having all the great websites I find in one organized spot. Any recommendations?

k-5mathteachingresources is a great website that I use for my math workstations.  All of the activities are aligned with the common core.  Does anyone else use this site?
